Join Karla and Jenna for a nourishing afternoon of cacao, breathwork and gentle somatic movement. This will be a safe, supportive, and loving container to feel, let go, and come home to yourself and REVIVE your mind, body & spirit before the silly season really kicks in.

Our evening will start with us sharing cacao to open up and connect in preparation for our breathwork journey. After breathing and releasing, a grounding, guided meditation will help you to integrate the processes of your breathwork experience. Finally, gentle movement and yin yoga will help to shift any remaining energy/blockages and bring you back into your body.

Karla is a breathwork facilitator, reiki & meditation practitioner, and founder of Om Shanti Shanti (energy healing and breathwork experiences). Karla is a natural healer, certified reiki practitioner and trained breathwork and meditation facilitator (through C2BC). Karla's training and experience is science-backed and focuses on supporting your nervous system as you process and release stored trauma. Conscious, connected breathing helps to alleviate stress and anxiety, boosts immunity, and regulates our nervous system. Breathwork also activates the release of oxytocin (the LOVE chemical), elevating our consciousness and energizing the body.

Jenna is a certified yoga and meditation teacher, Cacao Alchemist (and founder of Casa Cacao), ceremony facilitator, and Heart Space coach. Jenna has a grounded approach to spirituality, fusing the medicine of cacao with the practices and philosophies of yoga, whilst accounting for the reality of our needs and experiences in the west. Jenna makes her own cacao from the bean, stone-grinding beans sourced directly from the Solomon Islands. The cacao is alchemised with subtle sweetness and spices to create a delicious and effective heart-opening elixir to help you connect to your centre. Cacao is a stimulating drink that will make you feel uplifted, yet grounded. It is high in a whole host of nutrients and also activates serotonin and dopamine release. Cacao increases blood flow through and supports us to shift energy through the body...a perfect opening to your breathwork journey.

This event is for any body - no yoga or breathwork experience is required. All you need is an open mind and an open heart!

About breathwork

Breathwork helps to healthily release emotion and trauma from the body, reduce stress & anxiety, boost immunity, and regulates the nervous system. Through breathwork, the brain releases oxytocin which is the LOVE chemical, elevating our consciousness and energizing the body.

We will be using a conscious, connected mouth breathing technique, however, there is an option for nasal breathing if you have a health condition that you have already let us know about.

About cacao

Cacao is a stimulating drink that will make you feel uplifted, yet grounded. It is high in a whole host of nutrients and also activates serotonin and dopamine release. Cacao increases blood flow - and supports us to shift energy - through the body...a perfect opening to your breathwork journey.

Cacao has detoxifying properties which means it is very important to stay hydrated. Cacao contains theobromine which is different from caffeine, but can feel similar. Theobromine is a vasodilator (blood vessel widener), which stimulates the heart. Cacao is extremely high in antioxidants, magnesium and iron. It is considered a natural anti-depressant - it is the only plant known to contain and increase the amount of anandamide, known as the “bliss chemical,” in the body. The effects of cacao manifest physiologically, emotionally, and energetically, allowing us to connect with higher vibrational energies. Expect an uplifting experience that increases your feeling of connectedness to self, other, and mother (earth).
