Revolutionary Film Screening

Event description

Join the Mycoalition for an intimate film screening of the First Rainbow Coalition, hosted at Green Spaces in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver.

The Rainbow Coalition was an anti-racist, working class multicultural movement founded April 4, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois by Fred Hampton of the Black Panther Party, along with William "Preacherman" Fesperman of the Young Patriots Organization and José Cha Cha Jiménez, founder of the Young Lords.

The Mycoalition is inspired by the vision of these radical revolutionaries and hopes to embody some of their principles within the psychedelic movement here in Colorado. Join us for a lively community discussion after the movie to hear all about our vision and to share your thoughts!
