Revolve 2025 Troupe Auditions

Dear Revolve Families! 

I am thrilled to share some exciting news with our Revolve Dance Studios community! Starting in 2025, we are introducing dance troupes—a brand-new opportunity for our dedicated dancers to take their skills to the next level.

About the Troupes:

• Weekly Commitment: Each troupe will have a dedicated 1-hour class every week, focusing on their routines. At this stage classes will be on the following days. 

6-8 years: Monday

9-18 years: Wednesday

14-17 years: Wednesday

• Additional Requirements: To ensure our dancers are well-rounded and prepared for their troupe work, all troupe members will also be required to attend their age group's jazz and ballet classes each week.

• Competition Focus: Our troupes will be competing in the pom, jazz and lyrical sections at various competitions throughout the year. As dance is a team sport, it's essential for troupe members to be available for all scheduled rehearsals, competitions and performances. Success in these sections relies on every dancer’s commitment, as each member plays a crucial role in the overall performance.

Auditions:
Auditions for the troupes will be held together in Studio 1 on Saturday, 19th October, and will be a jazz audition. We encourage all interested dancers, regardless of age group, to participate and showcase their passion. We want to ensure that the audition process is a positive experience for all our dancers. Our goal is to make it as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. The auditions will be an opportunity for everyone to showcase their talents and enthusiasm in a supportive and encouraging environment. Remember, it's all about having fun and doing your best—there's no need to worry or feel pressured!
