RHODODENDRON 50th ANNIVERSARY EVENT: “The Rhododendron Dell – A Tour Through Time” From Inspiration to Conservation

Doug Thomson, Curator of the rhododendron collection at Dunedin Botanic Garden will trace the origins of the Dell and revisit some of the developments as it has grown over the years concluding with its developing role in the conservation of threatened species as part of a national rhododendron conservation framework. A tour of the Rhododendron Dell in the upper garden will follow.

Please be aware that due to the uncertainty with the Covid-19 Delta variant, some advertised events may need to vary their offering or reduce their numbers.  As our aim is to keep everyone safe and work within the Government guidelines, any variation will depend on which Level the south is operating under and final decisions will be up to the participating organisations.
