Riccarton High School is proud to present The Addams Family as our 2025 school show! 

In the kooky, upside-down world of the Addams Family, to be sad is to be happy, to feel pain is to feel joy, and death and suffering are the stuff of their dreams. 

The Addams family might be a little… unusual, but when it comes down to it, they’re dealing with something every family faces eventually: the kids are growing up. For generations, the Addams family have lived by their own dark and twisted traditions, perfectly content in their spooky little world. But their daughter Wednesday, now eighteen and fiercely independent, has fallen in love with someone shockingly normal: Lucas Beineke, a sweet, smart boy from a respectable Ohio family. And now she’s invited him (and his very conventional parents) over for dinner. What could possibly go wrong? In one unforgettable evening, secrets are revealed, love is tested, and the Addamses find themselves confronting their greatest fear: change.
