Liquid Lyrics, Sunshine Coast's most wordy, worldly and worthy spoken word event is back again for another year of expression, community and lets be honest, non one really knows what else.

Poets, jesters, and lovers of sharp tongues and sharper punchlines—this is your calling.

Nick & Cait are back, ready to stir the syllables and rattle the rhymes in a slam where wit is a weapon, words are wild, and the only rule is: make ‘em feel something (preferably awe, amusement, or existential dread).

If you’re bold enough to rhyme, ridicule, and revel in the absurd, step up to the mic. If you’d rather sit back and laugh, cry, or judge with a well-timed eyebrow raise, we welcome that too.

Either way, don’t miss it. Or do, but be prepared for us to write a poem about your poor life choices.

For one night only, **Nick & Cait** will be performing a **wildly improvised, extended skit** straight from **Being Human**—a scene so ridiculous, so unpredictable, and so *uniquely them* that it will **never** be performed in full again.

This is a **once-in-a-lifetime** theatrical experiment, where **wits will be tested, lines may be forgotten, and chaos is all but guaranteed.**

Poetry slam rules

* 3 minutes/ timer starts on the first word

* 1 point deducted for every minute over

* 5 Judges chosen randomly in the crowd

* high score and low score removed for final score

The winner and runner up will go into the end of year final for cash prizes to help them on their your way to following their performance dreams.

There will be spanakopita, lemon garlic potatoes, chai, bliss balls and cold drinks available for purchase on the night.
