RHYS LIGHTNING: MASTERCLASS

RHYS LIGHTNING — 1:1 PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS

Internationally acclaimed burlesque performer Rhys Lightning is coming to Canberra!

Following his performance at Menagerie of Misfits’ HORRORTEASE at Casino Canberra on Saturday 17 October, Rhys will be offering a limited number of one-on-one sessions for Canberra’s burlesque performers, dancers and performing artists on Sunday 18 October at Latin Dance Studio Canberra.

Rhys is an internationally recognised burlesque performer and choreographer, a winner of Best Debut at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas and Mr Boylesque Australia 2018.

These personalised sessions are an opportunity to work directly with Rhys on your performance and creative development.

You might use your session to:

• Develop or refine an existing act
• Explore choreography, movement and musicality
• Work on character, persona and stage presence
• Improve transitions, storytelling and audience connection
• Get feedback and direction on an act in development
• Work through creative blocks or develop a new performance idea
• Explore how to take your performance to the next level

Don't have an act yet? That's absolutely fine!

If you'd simply like to be inspired and have some fun, Rhys can also use your session to teach you a fun little burlesque or choreography routine that you can take away with you.

Come with an act, an idea, a question — or simply a desire to feel sexy, daring and inspired and walk away with a cheeky performance.

These sessions are suitable for performers at different stages of their creative journey and are tailored to what you want to get out of your time with Rhys.
