Whether you're brand new to line dancing or already have some experience, this welcoming event has something for everyone. Learn a mix of beginner-friendly and improver-level dances, enjoy social dancing, and spend an afternoon moving, laughing, and having a great time.
With a western-inspired atmosphere and a mix of dances for different experience levels, it's the perfect way to enjoy a fun afternoon out in Cromwell.
No previous experience needed. Just bring your dancing feet!
What to Expect
Beginner-Friendly Lessons
Learn a selection of line dances throughout the afternoon, with routines suitable for beginners and some improver-level dances for those wanting a challenge.
Dancing for Different Levels
Enjoy a mix of dances for different experience levels, with opportunities to learn, practise, and enjoy the dance floor.
A Fun Afternoon Out
Enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with a mix of learning, dancing, and socialising. Breaks will be included throughout the afternoon.
Good to Know
What to Wear
Wear comfortable clothing and footwear that allows you to move freely. Western-inspired outfits are welcome, but not required.
Bring Water
Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the afternoon.
Café Beverages
Beverages will be available to purchase from the on-site café.
FAQs
- Will all dances be suitable for beginners?
The event includes dances for different experience levels, from beginner, improver & intermediate. At certain times, beginners and less experienced dancers may be asked to step off the dance floor to make room for more experienced dancers during higher-level routines.
- Is the event suitable for children?
Yes! Rhythm & Boots Social is a family-friendly event. However, not all dances will be suitable for children. Children must be accompanied by an adult on the dance floor at all times.
- Can I buy tickets at the door?
Limited door sales will be available for $25 per ticket, payable by cash or card, subject to availability. Booking online in advance is recommended to secure your spot.
- What happens if I can no longer attend?
Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event. Refund requests within 7 days of the event are not eligible under the standard refund policy.
