Experience and cultivate Kirtan like never before with Shivam Rath & Rosie Rayah Light bridging the ancient world of Indian Classical Raga, Rhythm & Mantra mixed with live looping incredible instrumentation from Sitar, Slide Guitar, Tabla and the spontaneous magic of meeting together on stage for the first time !

What to bring: Please bring a yoga mat, cushion/pillow/chair to sit on, a warm layer in case it gets cold and your best singing voice & OR dancing shoes 
Family/kids: It's a family friendly celebration but need to be attended at all times.

More on Shivam : Join touring Indian Classical musician and live looper Shivam Rath on the crystal slide & electronic tabla, sharing a unique mixture of Rhythm, Raga, Mantra & Beats in live realtime looping. Named at birth Shivam Rath, is a second generation Musician following his fathers footsteps in both the world of Yoga and Indian classical music and since seriously taking up the path is sliding up to be one of Australia’s leading Slide Guitarists. Born into a musical family he has been combining his knowledge and path of meditation into the classically trained field of Music, Mantra and Raga and has now been performing and teaching music across the world for over a decade. As well as writing and producing his own musical compositions, with many tracks bridging, reviving and blending ancient arts, culture, mantra and music into our modern world.Shivam has studied music directly from some of the worlds top leading instrumentalists including Riley Lee (Shakuhachi) Japanese flute & Indian Slide guitarist Debashish Bhattacharya as well as Tabla from Chota Lal Mishra (former BHU University Professor). He is particularly passionate about sharing his experience and knowledge of raga music and has taught and hosted workshops, retreats in numerous countries and locations around the world as well as multiple tours with some of India's incredibly acclaimed maestros, earning a respect and recognition for establishing himself in this rich and ancient musical tradition.

More on Rosie Rayah Light : 

 A childhood spent meditating, singing mantras and playing sitar at the foothills of the Himalayas in India, brought multi-instrumentalist/singer Rosie a great sense of spirituality and musicality. Between living in India, Hong Kong, the shores of Australia, Europe and Egypt, Rosie has found true joy in expressing her heart through performing sitar, guitar, voice, devotional songwriting and sound healing - with an extensive music career touring across Australia, Asia & Europe with bands: RAYAH, Shanti Fire, Old Man River, Lulu & Mischka and Ngaiire, to name a few. She is a practitioner of mediation, Yoga teacher, kinesiologist, sound healer and devotee of the Divine, Rosie imbibes music, inhaling life and exhaling song. 

Accompanying on Tabla is Massimo Bidin, originally from Italy. He begun his journey with tabla and Indian classical music studying at the Conservatorium of Vicenza (Italy), later on he started receiving training from Shri Nihar Mehta and soon after became student of his Guru Pt. Pooran Maharaj from the Banaras Style of tabla . Over the years he has being travelling to India to continue learning the art tabla, and also study at Saptak School of Music in Ahmedabad.
He s being living in Melbourne for the last 8 years, developing as an upcoming tabla player and world music percussionist. He is very dedicated and capable in all aspects of Indian Classical and semi cassical structures, devotional bhajan and kirtan as well as modern contemporary fusion.
