Rhythm & Remedy came about when AJ & Jessie's worlds collided.

They came up with the concept of bringing music and medicine to the people via AJ on the decks bringing the Rhythm to dance floors across the country while Jessie brings the Remedy through teaching people how to use plants as medicine- sometimes via hilarious, comedic, improvised shows and ending each event with singing medicine songs together.

AJ Selector’s journey as a local artist is well-documented, with roots in childhood playing keys and drums, eventually leading him to study at the Conservatorium of Music. His passion for DJing and producing ignited in 2006, and it wasn’t long before he became a staple in Southeast Queensland’s club circuit. He recently celebrated 20 years behind the decks!!!

Always seeking new horizons, AJ took his talents on the road, electrifying dance floors from Brisbane to Brussels. He’s completed global tours spanning 40 countries across multiple continents, performing at renowned venues and festivals along the way.

A serial vibe raiser, live improv supreme, mixing stems with artists, dancers and emcees. Rhythms with Remedies interlace from Hip Hop to Drum N Bass, no genre’s safe!

Meet Jessie Reimers.

Jessie is a business owner- helping people remember how to use plants as medicine, writer, speaker, facilitator, leader, performer, pole dancer, singer, karaoke superstar, course creator and runs retreats and events all over Australia and the world.

Jessie teaches people about the physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual properties of plants and makes it simple to learn natural remedies for everyday ailments, helping people become a healer in their own home.

She has spoken to audiences as small as one and as large as 15,000, sharing her story of overcoming adversity, trauma and navigating her high functioning autism and severe social anxiety alongside building a thriving empire.

Jessie has mastered the art of manifestation, of having the courage to follow your dreams, of living a life by design and making choices that light you up. She’s here to help people throw out the rule book, reclaim their power and worth and remember who they really are. Their purpose, their passion -and to follow it.
