Rhythm of Fire - A celebration

Spend an intimate evening immersed in rhythm. This very special end of year celebration will feature a drum workshop and fire performance with Matt Lees, as well as a powerful burning ceremony and ecstatic dance event. We invite you to join together with the Allambee community, in a celebration of all that was 2023 and all that will be 2024. Together we will burn the old year and make way for 2024!

THE PRESENTERS

Matt Lees is the co-founder of the iconic ThreeWorlds on the Gold Coast. Since 2001, Matt has been building an extensive community through his love of meditation, fire twirling, drumming, music and all things organic. He has taught hundreds of people circus and fire skills, as well as facilitated countless retreats and workshops around Australia. He is a well-regarded fire performer but considers himself to be a student who is always ready to learn something new. Matt's magnetic personality and wild sense of humour livens any gathering. His spiritual practice is a bedrock for the truly remarkable life that he has manifested.

Seka Rae has over 15 years of experience facilitating personal development retreats, with mindful movement, meditation and dance. She has a love of various genres of music and has learned different dance styles over the years, as well as trained as a DJ. These influences inspired Seka to create her own unique blend of ecstatic dance, which creates a sense of depth, freedom, upliftment, and fun at the same time… which you will experience for yourself in this event!
