Rhythmic Awakening: Full Moon Energy Activation

Back by popular demand after a magical event in January, Amrit & Aimee are amped to return to Awake Water Temple to present a second volume of RHYTHMIC AWAKENING! We shall gather in community, open our hearts, sing, dance, drum, breathe, eat nourishing food, drink heart-warming cacao and celebrate our existence as one. We will be harnessing the power of the full moon in Virgo plus the fast approaching Autumn Equinox, which calls for shedding the past and creating more balance. We are bringing the same sensational vibe as last time, but with even more magic, more music and more food! 

This time round, the ceremonial cacao will be complemented by Blue Lotus Flower to help activate our third eye, sharpening our divine intuition in this powerful time of reflection, shedding and healing. Marvellous live art will be present too! Let this evening be a portal to greater presence, an opportunity to release stagnant energy, connect deeper to your body and call in freedom. Tune into your natural rhythms, harmonise with the symphony of the universe, and unleash the music within you!

We welcome you to the beautiful, sacred space of Awake Water Temple. The temple is a judgement free zone, a safe haven for healing, conscious connection, creative expansion, joyful release, and serves as a portal for powerful transformation and miracles to blossom.

6:30 - Doors open – Gather, connect, hug, hydrate with Awake Water, embrace the scent of cacao and sage fill the air, and settle into the space before we lift off

7:00 - Blue Lotus Cacao Ceremony – Ground together, acknowledge the land, tune into the present and set intentions. We shall embrace the heart-opening spirit of ceremonial cacao and the third eye activating effects of Blue Lotus flower, the 'flower of intuition.' These two powerful medicines (courtesy of Immortal Cacao & Miss Camellia Tea) will synergise to create a deeply present, uplifting yet calm, euphoric yet grounded energy. 

Breathwork – Tuning into our breathing, and synchronising our natural rhythms with the beat of the medicine drum, we create deeper somatic awareness of our bodies and inner space and raise our vibrations high in an embodiment meditation practice combining breathwork, sound and movement.

Voice Activation – Harness the natural power of your voice as you tune into the chakras, clearing blockages, stimulating energy flow and creating harmony in the body and mind

Ecstatic Dance / Drumming – Flow with the rhythmic delight of a high vibration DJ mix, dissolving tension as you let your body completely surrender to the music. Bring a drum if you like to add some rhythmic flavours; we will have a few to share.

Live Art - Feast your eyes as amazing artist Nina Nova who will be painting a live artwork during the course of the night. Nina is a Bondi based artist who channels healing into her creations. The finished artwork will be auctioned to whoever wants to take it home!

Complimentary Dinner – Nourish your vessel with a delicious, nutritious hot dinner. Vegan and gluten free options available. Dinner will be served at around 8:15pm.

Live Music – With your bellies warm and satisfied, enjoy a live hip-hop performance by Amrit (Shigadi), who will be delivering spiritually conscious bars flowing from the soul. Driven to elevate the minds and illuminate the hearts of his audience, Shigadi spits sonic poetry with purpose and authenticity, seeking to inspire growth and unity through empowering messages. The tracks will feature soaring hooks sung by songstress Aimee Claire.

Aimee will then bless our ears with a breath-taking acoustic performance of her newly written original music. Her music blends raw storytelling with soulful, transformative energy. With roots in both creative expression and spirituality, Aimee’s sound resonates with those seeking depth, freedom and empowerment. Aimee will serenade us into a warm and fuzzy, relaxed state in which we smoothly transition into a beautiful sound journey.

Sound Healing Journey – Lie down and bathe in a mesmerising soundscape featuring the powerful healing tones of Tibetan singing bowls, handpan, didgeridoo, piano, guitar, rain stick, throat singing, celestial singing, medicine drumming and the giant gong. Let these harmonious vibrations clear tension and guide you into deep relaxation, inner peace, and balance within the body, mind and soul. You will feel cleansed, blissful and renewed.

Closing Circle – We invite you to share any feedback of your experience. Event program officially ends at 10pm but you are absolutely welcome to stay until late to mingle, jam or simply relax and soak in the high vibes. It is a Friday night after all! Bring an instrument if you would like to jam though we will have some to share.

AMRIT INDRA is a multi-instrumentalist, music teacher, conscious hip-hop artist and sound healer whose vision is to transform and restore balance to the mind, body and soul through the power of sound. Amrit has a rich background in music, professional psychology plus training with the international Sound Healing Academy. Amrit is also the owner of Immortal Cacao, and facilitates cacao ceremonies to help opens up hearts through the loving spirit of this medicine. In his sound baths, Amrit uses shamanic vocals including his signature style throat singing (a mix of Tuvan and didgeridoo flavours), handpan and various percussion, inducing hypnotic states to clear blockages and release tension. Amrit facilitates workshops on voice activation and body percussion, encouraging individuals to discover the healing potential of their own natural vibrations.

She has organised events in several countries including conscious singles nights, yoga, dance, meditation, energy work, sound healing, and private retreats and has recently officially launched her career as a singer songwriter with her release of her catchy new single 'They Say.' Aimee's music blends raw storytelling with soulful, spiritual energy, her transformative journey with plant medicine woven through her music.

STAN KYSELOV is the owner of Awake Water and custodian of the space we will be hosting our event. Stan's vision was to distribute the highest quality, highest vibration, blessed water to the people of Sydney and beyond. The outcome is Awake Water, organically energised and vibrationally charged, structured spring water sourced from a deep underground spring in the Southern Highlands. Stan blesses everyone with the healing tones of his didgeridoo and giant Tibetan gong and has passionately transformed the Awake Water warehouse into the ‘Water Temple,’ a beautiful space for sound healing and other wellness events, providing healing and conscious connection for so many people.
