    Rhythms of The World!

    Bringing the World to The Valley through music, food & dance! 


    Celebrating 5 Cultures at this FREE Family fun day out in the beautiful Yarra Valley.

    Come and immerse yourself in these culturally rich communities with a full program of music & dance!

    Be entertained by Multicultural performances, participate in drum and dance workshops, wonder through the market place and tantalise your taste buds with a culinary extravaganza of food from around the world!

    Rhythms of the World is a FREE event, presented by Yarra Valley ECOSS- Community Environment Hub. 

    ECOSS welcomes any donations to assist in the continuation of such events.

    Program includes:

    Welcome to Country with Aunty Kim Wandin.

    Chin Community Dancers with traditional Harvest Dance.

    Kids African drum and dance workshop with Kofi Kunkpe and Frank Adjetey.

    Indian music performance with Sarita McHarg trio.

    Baque Voador- Afro-Brazilian drumming group performance.

    Ganga Giri will provide a musical backdrop on Didgeridoo while The Djarlo Dancers perform an interactive performance and workshop.

    Try out Brazilian Rhythms with Maracatu percussion workshop led by Humberto Porto.

    Yarra Valley Drummers led by Ghanaian Master Drummer Kofi Kunkpe will get you up dancing with a special appearance from African dance students led by Frank Adjetey.

    Wala means life will bring traditional West African rhythms & dance to the stage followed by a grand finale' Multi Cultural musical fusion!
