Event description

Rice up your life!

Sensei Miki returns to teach us all we need to know about rice and for this special lunchtime event, Miki will be joined by WA’s top Sushi Master. Together they will explore the origins of rice and most importantly its uses in the making of sake. They’ll discuss why the type of rice used is so important for cooking and making sake, as well as modern vs traditional farming techniques. Plus, in a group tasting of Junmai Daiginjo, Miki will discuss how the process of turning rice into sake creates the individual flavours and aromas.

Enjoy a lunch of authentic Nigiri Zushi, prepared in front of you especially by Miki’s friend and Sushi Master.

Please note: Not all dietary requirements can be catered for with this event. This event may be suitable for pescatarians, however please contact Miki's Open Kitchen if you have questions before booking.

This is an 18+ event.
