Introducing Rice Connect, a dynamic event designed to bring together stakeholders from across the industry.

The Australian Rice Growers’ Conference will now be held every second year, with the next conference to be held in 2025. Rice Connect will be held in alternate years. It is a smaller-scale event, which means less time off the farm, but you will still get to connect and celebrate with the Australian rice industry.

Presented by the Ricegrowers’ Association (RGA), SunRice Group, and AgriFutures Australia, the inaugural Rice Connect will bring together growers, researchers, agronomists and industry leaders under one roof.

Join us on Wednesday, 31st July & Thursday, 1st August 2024, in Moama, NSW. Whether you're a seasoned industry veteran or just starting your journey in the rice industry, Rice Connect offers something for everyone.

Wednesday will feature the Rice Extension Agronomist Update, followed by the rice industry's flagship event, the Rice Industry Awards & Gala Dinner at the Junction & Moama Bowling Club. This night of celebration and recognition will honour the achievements of industry trailblazers and announce the winner of the prestigious SunRice Grower of the Year Award. On Thursday morning, start the day with the SunRice industry Breakfast, followed by the RGA Annual General Meeting and the AgriFutures Rice Program Technical Research Update.
