Ride & Thrive: An LGBTQIA+ International Women's Day Event 2026

This unique and inclusive event celebrates lesbian and queer women’s riding culture through scenic motorcycle ride, motorcycle maintenance, health and wellbeing workshops, panels, markets, a community BBQ  highlighted by an afternoon celebration at Newcastle’s iconic queer venue, Bernie’s Bar. It fosters visibility, community connection, and empowerment while challenging stereotypes and promoting women’s health.

We will ride around the Hunter, finishing at Bernie’s Bar between 12:00 - 12:15pm, where the celebrations continue with:

• Women’s health education talks

• DJ sets & celebrations 

• All riders welcome - L & P plate friendly.
