Event description

Join us to welcome Muzafar Ali as he makes a stop on his incredible 4,000km bicycle ride from Maleny to Adelaide to raise funds for the education of Afghan girls who are banned from going to school, and for children who are stuck in limbo in places such as Indonesia and Thailand without the right to go to school. The evening will include a screening of the movie the Staging Post followed by a Q&A with Muzafar and film-maker Jolyon Hoff.

Muzafar is a recent winner of the Fred Hollows Humanitarian Award for his untiring work; he is a Board Member of Jesuit Refugee Services; a patron of Rural Australians for Refugees, and a truly inspiring person. We hope you can join us to support him.
