World Superbike season finale - the 2022 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, Australian Round!

Black Dog  Ride to  World Superbike World Championship, Australian Round, Phillip Island 2022 aims to start a conversation about depression and suicide prevention around the country. Help us get the country talking and join us on this exciting ride to Phillip Island.

We have start points in Kempsey NSW and Wodonga Vic.

Black Dog Ride has a history of visiting areas that are doing it tough to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention. This ride continues that tradition. Aside from our message, there is a side benefit - motorbike riders spend money to do these treks, benefiting the economies of the towns and cities. With that in mind, our aim this year is to ride through smaller communities and show them they are valued.

What else is in it for you? A chance to get on your two wheels with mates, ride the twistiest roads we can muster on the way down, go for some laps on the best motorbike track in the world, and then watch the experts show us how it's done over the weekend.

This is a ride for you, the rider. The more consistent corners the better, is our motto on this ride.

Ride Costs

Registration: Choose your preferred ticket and start point,  which Includes your choice of entry ticket to the 3 days of racing, and the below - 

Rider Package - 3 Day Entry pass, wrist Band, Exclusive Track Ride Bike Sticker, BBQ Dinner at Visitors Centre, rider patch, and Ride Polo shirt

Tourer Package - as per rider Package and including 4 Days Camping on track

Racer Package - as per rider Package and including access to Holeshot Exclusive Track Bars

Superbike Package - as per rider Package and including 4 Days Camping on track and access to Holeshot Exclusive Track Bars

Group 1 Friday 11th November Kempsey - NSW. Pre-ride gathering 6pm at Sherwood Estate Kempsey

Group 2 Sunday 13th November Wodonga - Victoria 8.30am Briefing at Piccolo Pod Wodonga 

Route Highlights

Group 1 Day 1 Sat, Kempsey To Scone. Day 2 Sun, Scone to Cowra. Day 3 Mon, Cowra to Tumbarumba

Group 2 Day 1 Sat, Group Ride around Albury/Wodonga. Day 2 Sun, Group Ride into the twisties to warm up those edges. Day 3 Mon, Wodonga to Tumbarumba

Monday Night groups meet at Tumbarumba Union Hotel 5pm

Tuesday – Combined Group Ride to Bright. Optional afternoon rides to Mt Buffalo and/or Mt Hotham. You will not want to miss these!!  Dinner at Alpine Hotel from 6pm

Wednesday – Bright to Mansfield for lunch then on to Marysville for Dinner 5pm. Check the map and count the corners!!

Thursday – Marysville down Reefton Spur to Kilcunda for lunch. Then to Phillip Island for group ticket collection, and the Money Cannot Buy, Track ride

Friday – Expo stall setup and free day to explore racing and take your turn on the Expo stall.   Dinner @ Champions Cafe, Visitors Centre, GP Circuit

Saturday – Free Day to attend races Group Dinner. And take your shot at the Black Dog Ride Go Cart Championship

Sunday – Main Race Day and Expo day.

Detailed ride routes and timing will be emailed to participants once they register. Riders can join along the way, so long as we know where and when.
