Right 2 Exist: A Revolutionary Festival
Event description
The Right 2 Exist Festival is more than an event—it’s a sacred convergence of resistance, remembrance, and radical joy. This multi-day, abolitionist festival brings together community organizers, artists, healers, and visionaries to affirm one simple truth: we all have the right to exist.
Held on unceded Ohlone land (Oakland, CA), this gathering centers the lives and leadership of those most marginalized by systems of oppression: unhoused neighbors, queer and trans communities, Black and Indigenous people, survivors, immigrants, and all who have been told they do not belong.

What makes this festival different?
There are no corporate sponsors. No cops. No extractive vendors.
This is a people-powered space of liberation, safety, imagination, and collective truth-telling.
Whether you come to dance, learn, grieve, or organize—this is your invitation to step into a world where freedom is not a dream, but a practice. Together, we are building the infrastructure for survival and the culture of what comes next.
We don't just believe in a better world. We are creating it.
Come as you are. Leave forever changed.
