Rights and Responsibilities: Tenancy Workshop

What everyone needs to know when renting

With winter approaching, it’s the perfect time to separate fact from fiction when it comes to tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities. Hosted by MBIE, this workshop gives kaimahi and whānau clear, practical information about renting in Aotearoa. Learn what rights are in place to support tenants, what landlords are required to provide, and how to ensure rental homes meet Healthy Homes Standards — helping everyone stay safe, warm, and informed.

All tenants, landlords, and whānau are encouraged to attend. Register now to build your knowledge, ask questions, and feel confident about your rights and responsibilities when renting.
