Rights Matter: Bringing UNCRC to Life
Description
This course is a good introduction to youth participation, but also a good space to meet with like-minded people interested in discussing and sharing experiences, skills and tools for meaningful participation. It is also a chance to explore UNCRC legislation and what it means for participation with under 18's.
The session is aimed at:
1. people who work with young people (in different spaces and places - education, housing, health, community settings etc.)
2. decision-makers keen to consult and engage with young people in a meaningful way.

• UNCRC incorporation in Scotland
• Practical examples
• Exploring barriers to realising Children's Rights
