Ring of FHIR Interoperability Symposium & Connectathon
Event description
Following the success of the IPS-athon at Digital Health Week 2023, Te Whatu Ora, HISO and HL7 New Zealand invite you to a 3-day event which will run parallel to our Australian counterparts as we work collaboratively to build health interoperability across Oceania.
The focus for our event is to adapt the International Patient Summary (IPS) to New Zealand’s unique settings and build a New Zealand Patient Summary (NZPS). Built on HL7® FHIR® and SNOMED CT®, IPS is the standard for core personal health information and borderless care that nations around the world are implementing as part of digitalising their health systems.
Join us in revolutionising the future of digital health in New Zealand at the first connectathon of this year, held in Auckland.
Choose from the following ticket options:
Day 1 | 20 March | Symposium only |
Days 2 & 3 | 21 & 22 March | Connectathon only |
Full event | 20 - 22 March | Symposium and Connectathon |
Symposium: Digital health leaders in New Zealand and Australia share how standards adoption accelerates the value of digital health. Experts in the digital health field will explore models for increased collaboration across the region and focus on improved health equity through digital transformation.
Connectathon: Participants choose a topic-focused track from a menu of FHIR services developed by Te Whatu Ora, develop a problem statement, and spend the two days building a solution using FHIR®, SNOMED CT® and other internationally recognised standards.
