Join Funkytown Fish at Cafe Gummo as we celebrate fem fronted bands and the amazing music they produce.

Funkytown Fish is a punk/indie rock foursome bringing the riot grrrl movement of the 90s into the 21st century. We explore politics, gender, sexuality and life as a fem-presenting person with killer breakdowns and high energy instrumentals.

We will be joined by three other amazing bands:

Operation Karma; a three-piece band bringing musical complexity to their punk rock sound that is sure to get everyone in the audience hyped.

G-String Nicotine; an all-fem band with a powerful punk sound underscoring cutting lyricism and social commentary

Fraternising with Fish; an up and coming band with a more post punk sound, inspired by bands like Echo and the Bunnymen.
