Thurs May 18th - 5 pm-10 pm - Ripple Magazine launch + Closing Party w/live music + DJS.
We're incredibly excited to announce that the 3 x Grammy Nominated artist Nai Palm (Hiatus Kaiyote) is coming straight from Coachella Festival and a US tour in hot to The Old Ambo for her debut Namba performance.

This intimate performance from a once-in-a-generation artist is not to be missed. Beloved by superstars such as Prince, Erykah Badu and Pharell Williams, Nai's music has been  sampled by Beyonce, Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Anderson Paak.

Armed with just her guitar and vocal rainbows, you'll be left spellbound. Also playing is local legend and friend of Nai's, Andrea Kirwin, the Melbourne-based compositional improv outfit Uncomfortable Science led by Laneous on whiteboard composing live with his trusty magic marker and a host of special guests, filthy local punk rock group Sissyboy play their first ever set and Mike Michaels Extraterrestrial Outreach Workshop will start the night with a series of synthesised signals to the heaves.

DJs will be set up at the new Bad Habit Records next door, and we'll have 2 x stages set up in the Old Ambo. It's gonna be bigger than a Ripple. It's gonna be a floooooood!

Line-up: Nai Palm, Andrea Kirwin, Uncomfortable Science, Sissyboy, Mike Michaels Extraterrestrial Outreach Workshop
