Ripple at The Lair

Join us at The Lair on the 31st of October for Ripple - a sonic spring-clean featuring Carmel Courtney (live) and Max Maxwell's rhythmic alchemy; calling in longer days, warmer nights, and good times in good company.

Carmel and Max Maxwell will be showcasing their new musical projects - these two have been collaborating for decades and they know how to keep pulling new twists and surprises from up each other’s sleeves. They’ll be joined by skilled local selectors Simon Kong and Psilo (Chris Boyd), perfect compliments to Carmel and Max's eclectic musical tastes.

Ripple is about resonance – the way music reaches outward like rings on water, touching everyone it reaches, washing away the mind’s preoccupations, bringing us all together into the present moment.

Expect a flowing journey through various flavours of house, organica, disco, and live saxophone from the incredible Carmel Courtney.
