RISE ABOVE - a breathwork, sound healing and medicina event.

INTENTION

My intention for this ceremony is to guide you on a journey through breath and sound, allowing you to gently let go of the stresses of daily life cultivating a deep sense of peace and presence upon returning to the body. I also come to you today with an offering to sit with a sacred plant medicine called Rapeh. This is an extremely powerful plant medicine, and one of my most valuable tools in my kit for self navigation, personal expansion and ceremony.

THE BREATH

This style of breath is curated specifically to do 2 things, the first part of the breath is designed to open and expand our heart, cutting through any blocks, walls or defences set up as a means of self preservation, through this we allow a space to let these things go and by activating our heart centre we can make more room for love, compassion and gratitude. By raising our vibration/ energy/ Chi through the breath, we get a chance to rise above the things that weigh heavy on us, allowing us to transcend them. In doing this we increase our heart-brain coherence, meaning we can rise above the conscious mind and live our lives from a truly authentic and heartfelt space

The second half of this breath is designed to invoke a “journey” through long breath retentions strategically set throughout the session. Through these breath retentions, we get a chance to sit in a transcended state, floating through time and space, detached from the critical thinking mind, gaining access to our internal guidance system, our subconscious mind and our authentic truth.  These retentions are lovingly enhanced through the use of traditional instruments such as the didgeridoo and medicine drum, promoting a dream-like or psychedelic state.

RAPEH

Rapeh is a sacred plant medicine originating from the amazon jungle. It is an extremely potent, but completely legal plant medicine with amazing energy clearing/ spiritually purifying and physically grounding properties. It has been used in sacred ceremonies throughout the Amazon for 1000s of years, and been incorporated into plant medicine ceremonies and spiritual rituals in the west in more recent years. Rapeh is a non psychoactive, non psychedelic tobacco snuff made with Mapacho tobacco, which is dried up and ground down into a very fine powder, then mixed with the ash of certain special plants, and herbs to embody the specific physical and energetic properties of such plants. This medicine originates from a tribe in brazil and is shared with blessings and great reverence for the people creating the medicine and its long running traditions. I have been lucky enough to be working with this medicine for the last 3 years, I am so grateful to have this medicine in my life, and feel a strong call to share it far and wide. This is only an offering and is OPTIONAL! If you have never received this medicine before there is the opportunity for a "handshake" serving, a chance to connect with this medicine on a lighter scale, if you have experienced this medicine before we have multiple varieties and strengths to work with!

IMPORTANT

It is recommended to avoid caffeine from 12.00pm on the day of the event, avoid heavy food from around 3.00pm

This style of breathwork is not advised for people who are pregnant or people diagnosed with mental health conditions such as bi-polar or schizophrenia, as well as serious heart conditions or for people with pace makers etc.
