Rising Tide Fundraiser: Screening ‘Mothers of the Revolution’
The Joinery
adelaide, australia
Event description
Join Tarni Tarnanthi (Rising Tide Adelaide) members and supporters at a film screening fundraiser. Be inspired and contribute to a good cause!
This screening is raising funds to help Tarni Tarnanthi to get 200 South Australians to Newcastle in November 2024. Last year 3000 people from across Australia flocked to the world's largest coal port. This year we are expecting 10,000 people to rise up together, demanding that government stops approving new fossil fuel projects, and tax profits from fossil fuel exports at 75% to fund a just transition to renewable energy.
Be inspired by the powerful documentary Mothers of the Revolution, a story from Greenham Common of direct action addressing the nuclear crisis.
