RISO-print Workshop
Description
Join us for a creative workshop making A3 prints using a two colour Risograph process.
Risograph printing was developed in Japan in the 1980s as a high-speed copying system. It works similarly to screen printing and uses plant-based masters made from banana fibers and bright eco-friendly soy inks. The process is known for its bold colours, textured, and layer alignment variations that make every print unique, you never quite know what you will get!
Workshop Structure:
Designing the layers
We will work on creating your two colour layers design. You can bring a design with you or create your poster during the session using collage or drawing materials.
Printing
Using the Riso printer we will print your 2 colour layers separately for them to join up together into a unique 2 colour print! Remember imperfections are part of the magic and the bolder you go the better!
No experience needed!!
