This event is a ceremonial descent into the sacred mysteries of eros, where movement becomes prayer, desire becomes devotion, and every breath is an offering to the flame of life itself.

This is a night of sensual immersion and embodied expression, where the erotic and the divine intertwine. A temple space to awaken the current of Eros within, not as spectacle, but as a sacred force.

Here, the body is reclaimed as altar, and erotic energy is honoured as the raw, holy pulse of creation – deep, alive, and sovereign.

The evening will unfold as a curated ceremonial experience, including:

- TEMPLESQUE – A Tantric Burlesque offering to stir the erotic pulse and awaken the collective field to open the body to life force, passion, and sensual presence

- GUIDED ACTIVATION – to open the body to life force, passion, and sensual presence

- EROTIC MOVEMENT JOURNEY – A hypnotic movement journey to awaken sensual presence and ignite erotic expression

MARK SANKARA (Rites of Dance)

For the past six years, Mark Saṅkhāra has been a driving force in the Gold Coast conscious dance scene, holding it down with Rites of Dance – a pivotal pillar of the community. His events create sacred spaces for movement, connection, and deep transformation, making a lasting impact locally.

Saṅkhāra is a master at sculpting soundscapes that guide dancers inward and outward — from the depths of the earth to the heights of the cosmos – unlocking raw, soulful expression. His sets fuse tribal rhythms, deep bass, world beats, and groove-driven melodies into a hypnotic, high-energy experience.

The name Saṅkhāra, an ancient Buddhist term meaning formation and fabrication, perfectly reflects Mark’s style: “fashioning” the atmosphere on dance floors into an irresistible, soul-stirring journey full of alluring mid-tempo, bass-heavy, tribal, funk-infused melodic pieces.

Originally from New Zealand and now based on the Gold Coast, Mark has over a decade of experience playing across clubs, conscious dance events, and community gatherings in Australia and NZ. With a Diploma in Audio Engineering and 20+ years of guitar experience, his devotion to sound and movement is woven into every set, creating not just a dance floor, but a rite of passage.
