It's the end of High School, Fergus is gradating after 11 years, he's throwing a party. It's your earth-shattering first breakup, it's sneaking out of the house to drink a vodka cranberry goon bag and f*ck in a bush, it's being betrayed by your high school best friend. It's falling in love. It's rough, it's loud, it's unforgiving.

Rites of Passage is a couch-fire of a story. 18 young actors have all written a coming-of-age scene reflecting on their own Rites of Passage. Come and join us as the lights turn on at the club and we come out of our teenage hellscapes/daydreams and into whatever comes after that. Made possible by Creative New Zealand
