Event description

Let us come together in this expansive afternoon on our patch of paradise to explore ritual and reverence in the garden. Part experiential, part theory, part practical, in this workshop we will explore co-creating with nature in a connected, nourished, and leaned back way.

We are nature.

How can we create a deeper relationship with nature, and ultimately ourselves?

Over the course of the afternoon, the following facets will be embraced as tools of exploration, to strengthen our connection to all that surrounds us, and is within us - >

- The interconnectedness of everything
- Attunement and observation
- Inner seasons
- Moon rhythms
- Sit spots
- Soul tonics for the garden
- Homeopathic preparations
- Offerings

Your guide for this unfolding will be Monique Macfarlane from Natural Wisdom. Over the course of this lifetime, Monique has explored many different modalities such as biodynamics, planting by the moon, nature communication, maramataka, cyclical living for women, somatic experiencing, classical tantra, non-violent communication and photography. She currently collates the cosmic planting and gardening calendar for OrganicNZ magazine, and has recently been named as an Eat NZ Kaitaki.

An avid lover of food, the land called her home seven years ago, and she is based on eight hectares that is certified organic, and co-created with biodynamic, regenerative agriculture, holistic grazing and no-till principles. A small market garden, young orchard, beloved cows, chooks, agroforestry, and regenerative wilding areas of native bush will be our playground for this experience.

Natural Wisdom was born out of the curiosity for knowledge, nature and the human experience. An avid reader and devourer of information along with an embodied sense of this lifetime, Monique seeks to understand the depths of herself, out to the reaches of the universe, and absolutely everything in between as she explores the interwoven connections and cycles in the cosmos. Come, join the ride.
