Event description
Liquid Architecture and MMW present two nights of experimental and electronic music genealogies, featuring artists whose works span from the 1970s to today.
Across two programs at Miscellania, audiences are invited to immerse themselves in sound-worlds representing multiple generations of Melbourne’s experimental scene, with artists including Warren Burt, Natasha Anderson, Todd Anderson-Kunert, Tangerine, Knotting, Moopie, Kia, alsi and Patrick Gunawan Hartono.
Expect modular synthesis, electro-acoustic experiments, algorithmic noise, minimalism and maximalism, microtonality, audio-collage, and acousmatic works; aka spaces for listening, thinking, imagining and manifesting other worlds.
