Ritual Ground: Sisterhood Feast - A Circle of Cacao & Connection
Event description
🌸 Ritual Ground: Sisterhood Feast * A Circle of Cacao & Connection
Thursday 11th December | 6:00–9:30pm | Aura, Redhead
✨ Arrival for tea and smudging from 6pm | Circle opens at 6:30pm
As the year draws to a close, we gather one final time, to celebrate, reflect, and share in the warmth of sisterhood.
This Sisterhood Feast is a festive, heart-centred evening of cacao, song, gratitude, and shared food.
We’ll open with a cacao ceremony and our sacred songs, softening into connection and reflection on the year that’s been. Each woman will have a chance to share from her heart; what she’s grateful for, what she’s releasing, and what she’s calling in for the new year.
Then we’ll share a delicious potluck feast, each dish an offering from our own hands and hearts.
To weave in the spirit of giving, we’ll hold a Secret Sister Gift Exchange: gifts that are handmade, homegrown, thrifted or regifted with love. Something simple and meaningful that carries a piece of your heart.
We’ll close our circle in song and light, carrying the warmth of this sisterhood into the festive season and beyond.
What to bring:
🌿 A dish to share for our potluck feast (gluten free)
🥁 Your medicine drum
🎁 A handmade, thrifted or regifted Secret Sister gift
💧 A bottle of water
💗 An open heart
✨ A Note on Ceremonial Cacao We’ll be sharing ceremonial-grade cacao during our gathering — a sacred plant medicine known for opening the heart, enhancing connection, and deepening presence. While cacao is generally safe and nourishing, it is a powerful plant ally, so I ask you to read the following guidance to ensure it’s supportive for your body and your journey.
🧡 Please be discerning and use only a very small amount of cacao if: You’re taking antidepressants, especially SSRIs or MAOIs — cacao may interact with these medications. If you are on heart medication — cacao is a gentle stimulant and can increase your heart rate and decrease blood pressure. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding — small sips are usually fine, but check with your care provider if unsure. If you are sensitive to caffeine — cacao contains theobromine, which has similar stimulating effects. You experience migraines — cacao can be a trigger for some. .
💧We recommend: Staying well hydrated. Please bring a bottle of water.
💫Trusting your intuition — if it doesn’t feel right for your body today, honour that. Even if you choose not to drink the cacao, you are absolutely welcome to be fully part of the ceremony and receive its medicine in your own way. The heart-opening happens in many forms. If you have any questions or health concerns, please reach out before the event — I want you to feel safe, supported, and held.
