Riverina Conservatorium of Music Lunchtime Concert No.8: Two Flutes and Guitar

This program is centred on 'The Four Season of Buenos Aires' by tango great, Astor Piazzolla. No concert with guitar would be complete without a piece by 19th century guitar virtuoso, Ferdinando Carulli. The poignant story of The Little Match Girl will be brought to life in a new work by Fran Griffin. A charming work by the less well-known Charles Blum, his Three Nocturnes (le Bouquet), will be followed by the famous Waltz No 2 by Dmitri Shostakovich.
