RiverLines - Nannup
Description
RiverLines - Writing for Resilience workshop with author Dr. Nicole Sinclair.
3 hr workshop open to all writers: hidden, emerging and seasoned.
This session will support participants to experiment with various imaginative writing strategies. Through reflective writing prompts, participants will have the opportunity to tap into their own experiences of resilience, fostering personal growth and empowerment.
Can writing help you navigate your own internal landscapes and seasons? Can forming connections through creativity help us weather the changes ahead? While drought is the initial conversation catalyst the writing prompts and techniques are transferrable to other aspects of life. So, even though we FINALLY have some rain (Hooray!) the spectre of drought still looms over us in the South West. Climate change predictions forecast our corner of WA will be the canary in the coal mine for increasing hot and dry spells. Summer could begin in Spring and end in Autumn.
What does this mean for the communities in our region? For you?
