    Event description

Join RMBWA for an enjoyable evening of networking, fellowship and knowledge sharing with special guest panelists; Tom Young; 2018 WA Overall Innovator of the Year, 40under40 winner and, Australia’s Best Scaling Up Proptech, and, Matthew Pham; 2023 40under40 winner and Tik Tok’s ‘’IGA Guy”.

Assisted in conversation by RMBWA Chair; Martin Graham, these two emerging WA business leaders will answer audience questions on how they achieved their early successes and where they’re headed next, and, ways you can apply the learnings in your organisation. Tom and Matthew will be staying on for networking, so take the opportunity to have a chat and perhaps do some business!

After an early career in the building industry with a background in Earth sciences, engineering & design, Tom Young officially joined the tech world in 2017, founding uDrew after nearly a decade of personal R&D. Inspired by his experiences and frustration of dealing with the current processes of the building industry, and as a homeowner, Tom taught himself coding which he used to create the original uDrew beta system. He achieved a number of world firsts along the way, before remortgaging his house to found the business & continue to push the limits of innovation. Since 2017, the uDrew team has expanded to 12 members and has gone on to be locally and internationally recognised.

Matthew is a young leader that inspires others into action. A recent 40 Under 40 Winner, he is the Group Operations & Marketing Manager of his family business; Pham Group of Supermarkets, consisting of four IGA Stores. He's built a social media following of over 55,000 on TikTok, and, is now more commonly known as the "IGA Guy on TikTok". Passionate about giving back to the community, Matthew is an advocate for volunteering, holding prominent roles with Rotary and Bendigo Bank.
