RMIT Activator x Boeing Industry Design Challenge 2025

Picture this: it’s just another day at the office…at a leading global aerospace company.

Boeing is a global aerospace company offering innovative opportunities across commercial aviation, defence, and space systems.

The 2025 RMIT Activator x Boeing Industry Design Challenge will give you the opportunity to creatively problem solve through immersive, real-world challenges. You can step into the mindset of Boeing’s global workforce—tackling complex, industry-relevant problems that blend cutting-edge theory with the high stakes of aerospace innovation.

The challenge will take place over two days, allowing you time to consider the challenge and explore solutions. With input from Boeing’s leadership teams, the challenge offers a rare chance for students to engage with the same high-impact questions driving the company’s global innovation.

With a $3,500 prize pool up for grabs, this is your chance to think big, innovate boldly, and make your mark alongside one of the world’s leading aerospace giants.

Program start date: Tuesday 5 August 2025 (9am-5.30pm)

Program end date: Wednesday 6 August 2025 (9am-5.30pm)

Who should apply?

RMIT students who are keen to develop their career-ready toolkit with the methods and mindset needed to solve challenges in any industry.

Any of level of study is welcome, across all RMIT's colleges.

You can register as an individual or as a team (max 5 per team).

What can I win?

Aside from a great addition to your resume, the 2025 industry challenges will award cash prizes from a total prize pool of $3,500.
