Join us for the opening celebration of two important exhibitions at RMIT Gallery on Thursday, 6 June.
Working Title: Studio Practice in the RMIT Art Collection explores RMIT’s dynamic art collection unearthing the rich history of atelier practice at RMIT. The exhibition reveals important work by notable academics and alumni, showcasing distinctive creative methodologies and collaborations alongside collecting legacies of more than a century.
The Concentric Influences of Sol LeWitt is the first part of two RMIT Gallery exhibitions centring around Sol LeWitt’s practice and legacy. The exhibition brings the work of Janet Passehl (USA), Fransje Killaars (Netherlands), Irene Barberis (Australia), and Wilma Tabacco (Australia) together, each sharing a unique and impactful connection to this globally influential artist.
