Event description

An intersectional event to share different cultural traditions and knowledge about environmentalism.

What is the future of the lunar calendar when creatures like the tiger are at risk of extinction? How do we negotiate the ways "tiger parenting" is intended to teach us the grit we need to succeed, while possibly endangering the tiger even further?

Play a game created just for this event that questions what we trade to succeed in this world. This game will invite us to ponder how these choices are connected to the livelihood of the tiger.

Participatory panel option - all of us have stories to share so that we may teach each other and grow pathways for different perspectives. Attendees will be invited to share and discuss their experiences with what it means to walk the unfamiliar path.

This is a workshop intended to bring a sense of connection with likeminded folk who can relate to a central theme: having a dream that did not fit what was expected of us. The fear of not making our parents proud, of whether we could succeed in this lesser known path. The feeling of not belonging, and struggling to find a voice and space... but just like the fierceness of a tiger, the energy can't be contained no matter how hard we might have tried to hide it ourselves! You aren't alone, come find us :)
