The Mateshop and Man to Man invite you too join us this evening as the power of two local mens groups will unite on this momentous day.

The energy will shake the ground, and then take your breath away whilst you are a part of the gathering of men that will roar together. This is a sign of mutual understanding that the event is a container. This time and space are sacred and it is also an invite to allow yourself to be real, raw and authentic.

We get that life isn’t picture perfect, we encourage you to lean into the safe space and absorb the vulnerability of others as we take time to listen and time to share. There are no judgements.

We will also be including breath-work and cacao into this months catch up with an amazing facilitator to guide us through this process.

WHAT IS CACAO?

Cacao is helpful for getting clarity, setting intentions, and doing healing work & inner-processing. Being in a sacred space helps you get out of your normal frame of mind, allowing you to experience new insights & perspectives. Depending on the intention of the ceremony they can also be wonderful places to connect with people in a safe, open-hearted environment. Sharing cacao brings us into the same energetic frequency. This often results in deeper more intimate connection with ourselves and each other. When multiple people share cacao together, we have a shared experience of mood elevation, increased vitality, enhanced intuition and empathy, and a more open, present heart.

-Hypertension (high blood pressure), chronic cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, schizophrenia, and recent surgery under general anaesthetic (under two weeks prior).

-Cacao contains monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs); ceremonial doses can contraindicate with both tyramine (1st gen anti-depressants) and tryptophan (2nd gen SSRI anti-depressants).

Cacao is not a compulsory component of this event. If you have any of the above and still wish to participate, we require you to communicate with us prior and sign a waiver and release.
