Robert McKenzie's Last Hurrah

Please join us to mourn and celebrate the life of Robert McKenzie at Welcome to Thornbury - The Greenhouse, on Thursday October 6. Join us from 11:30am for a welcome drink before the service begins at 12pm. This will be followed by a wake at the same venue, with the chance to share food, drink and stories.

Please RSVP by Tuesday October 4 to assist with catering and seating plans

We would love everyone to be able to join us, however, we ask that if you're feeling unwell, or experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 please stay home and watch the ceremony via the livestream.

Parking:

There is a good amount of parking a few doors down from the venue at the Croxton Park Hotel. There is also a tram line right outside the venue.

Livestream:

We invite everyone joining us on the livestream to have a candle ready to light for Rob. There will be a special moment in the ceremony for you to light them.

Watching a funeral via livestream can be a very strange experience. You might like to consider the following to make the experience as comfortable as possible:

• The livestream can be watched live, or you can watch it at a later time
• Consider having a friend with you to offer support, or have someone you can call for support
• Have snacks and drinks at the ready, so you can settle in
• Bring objects of comfort and find a space you can really settle in
• Arrange to call someone afterwards for a debrief
