This panel will explore what true inclusion looks like for LGBTIQA+ legal professionals. Moving beyond corporate statements and diversity checklists, our panellists will unpack the lived realities of LGBTIQA+ lawyers navigating workplace culture, career progression, and personal authenticity.
It will discuss how aspiring and current legal professionals can identify truly inclusive workplaces, the structural and cultural changes needed to foster belonging, and the responsibilities of employers, allies, and leadership in creating affirming environments. Through shared experiences and practical insights, this session aims to bridge the gap between inclusion policy and lived experience. It hopes to empower LGBTIQA+ legal professionals to thrive, not just survive, in their careers.
