    Event description

Dive into the world of robotics and learn to code, solve challenges, and create.

We will recreate a rover like you might have seen on Mars and learn to program the sensors that would be needed to explore the planet.

    (Scratch knowledge is recommended)

We use Scratch-based mBlock software for the robots. We’ll learn to use sensors, to play with mechatronics to make the robot move and to tackle challenges using the space theme.

This is a project-based workshop that will help young people develop an understanding of robotics, mechatronics and computational thinking skills.

We will investigate with Arduino-based robots, Scratch-based software coding, robotic concepts, and basic circuitry.

    Thursday 22nd April 9 am- 12 pm

    Friday 23rd April 1.30 pm - 4.30 pm

Two sessions are available over two days

Don't forget morning tea and a drink bottle!

This workshop integrates science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. This workshop is for keen kids aged 9-13 years.
