Join us for an engaging public event exploring how artificial intelligence might shape the future of democratic participation.

This session will share findings from Robots in the Room — an ongoing research project investigating how humans interact with embodied AI in small-group deliberations. The discussion will feature members of the project team alongside Pepper the robot herself.

Together, we’ll consider the promises and challenges of including AI in democratic spaces — from the ethics of robot participation to broader questions and critiques of robot personhood in civic and democratic contexts.
