Weave a Rock Sack

In this workshop you will learn how to create your own unique rock sack with paper twine using the looped basketry technique.

You are welcome to bring your own favourite rock or small object, otherwise I will provide plenty to pick from!

Looping is a simple yet versatile basketry technique with a history spanning back thousands of years and found in many cultures around the world.

You will guided through the entire process from beginning your piece, moulding and shaping the form, enclosing your rock or other object and finishing your ornamental sack.

By the end of the workshop, you will go home with own unique handmade rock sack, and feel confident to be able to make more!
