Join David Pemberton, The Breathing Coach for a transformative morning at Rockpool Cafe, Currumbin Valley every Sunday morning! Discover first hand the powerful synergy of breathwork and cold water immersion as we come together to reset the body and the mind. Starting Sunday 6th April, at 7:30am and on the 1st and 3rd Synday of the month, up until the end of the year! Connecting consciously to our breath, body, and mind—while uniting with a like-minded community—to cultivate resilience, awareness, clarity, and self-belief.
What to Expect
Breathwork Session:
Experience a deeply immersive 40-50-minute guided meditation and breathwork session designed to bring you into a state of calm, clarity, and inner connection. Through intentional breathing and mindful awareness, you’ll be guided to tune into yourself, quiet the noise of daily life, and shift from the busyness of the mind into the presence of the body.
This session will help you release stress, build resilience, and cultivate self-awareness, allowing you to reconnect with your breath as a powerful tool for grounding and balance. As you move through rhythmic breathwork, you'll feel your body awaken, your mind clear, and your energy reset.

Cold Water Immersion:
Step into the transformative power of cold water immersion, a practice that awakens both body and mind, leaving you feeling invigorated, empowered, and deeply refreshed. The shock of the cold activates your nervous system, increasing circulation, oxygen uptake, and metabolic function, while also triggering the release of endorphins and dopamine, enhancing mood and mental clarity.
Cold immersion is a powerful tool for building resilience—training your body to remain calm under stress, improving focus, discipline, and emotional regulation. As your body adapts to the cold, it strengthens immune function, reduces inflammation, and accelerates muscle recovery, making it a perfect complement to physical training or simply a way to reset and recharge.
When paired with breathwork, this experience goes even deeper, allowing you to harness your breath as an anchor, guiding you through discomfort and teaching you how to control your response to stress. By embracing the cold, you’ll discover a new level of mental and physical strength, stepping out of the ice bath with a renewed sense of clarity, energy, and resilience.
Once we complete the breathwork session and fully integrate back into the present moment, we will take a short, mindful stroll across the road to the Rockpools. There, you'll find invigorating ice baths filled with mineral-rich water sourced directly from the pristine Currumbin Creek. This natural, energy-infused water enhances the benefits of cold immersion, helping to rejuvenate the body, sharpen the mind, and elevate your overall sense of well-being. Once the creek cools to a refreshingly crisp temperature, we will transition from the ice baths and come together as a community to fully immerse ourselves directly in the creek. This shared experience will allow us to connect not only with the invigorating power of nature but also with each other, embracing the energy of the flowing water as it revitalizes our bodies and minds. Let the cool currents awaken your senses, deepen your presence, and leave you feeling renewed, grounded, and connected.

- Investment: $25 plus minimal booking fee. If you are partaking in the ice bath, please bring a bag of ice! - Winter months ice not required.
- What to Bring: Yoga mat, towel, blanket, eye mask, high vibes and an open mind.

Contraindications
Breathwork and cold water immersion is not for everyone and to participate you must be of sound mind and relatively good health. There will be a waiver to sign upon entry. If you have any heart related, respiratory or severe autoimmune issues, or are pregnant please consult with your Allied Health Professional before undertaking Breathwork or Cold Water Immersion practices.
