Rocky's Pride & Joy 'A Place Unknown' Single Launch

'A Place Unknown' is a sprawling 8 minute cosmic doom odyssey that journeys from haunting atmospherics into crushing riffs, duelling guitar solos and a triumphant reprise, soundtracking the breaking of a curse and a voyage through the unknown. With this song Rocky’s Pride & Joy continue to showcase themselves at their heaviest and most focussed. This is the second single from the bands forthcoming sophomore album anticipated for release toward the end of 2026.

A Place Unknown will be released on all streaming platforms on 27 August 2026.

Joining Rocky's Pride and Joy are newcomers '...andtheworld'. Originally a solo project has now evolved into a fully fledge unit featuring members of Grenadiers, Soft White Machine, Realist Few and Day on Fire. Equally pretty as it is heavy, this post-metal quintet is influenced by likes of sleepmakeswaves, Russian Circles and Deafheaven to create walls of sounds amongst sparse and delicate soundscapes. Their new single 'Now Is Not Our Time' will be released 4 September 2026 on all streaming platforms.

Spitwater are also making their stoner/doom debut. Newly formed and featuring members of beloved emo/metal act 'Raccoon City', keep your ears peeled for new music from this 4 piece out in later 2026.
