Event description

After growing up on the outskirts of Tamworth playing at the TCMF as a teengaer and has since toured with acts including The Dreggs, Kyle Lionhart & Alivan Blu, Rod Coote is now playing his own run of headline shows in major cities across Australia to share his new song 'Blue Lake', a new single releasing on February 23rd produced by Garrett Kato in Byron Bay, who has also recorded the likes of Ziggy Alberts, Jack Botts & Kim Churchill

Rod will be playing a free show (RSVP'd) in his hometown of Tamworth NSW at The Press Basement Bar on 30th March 2024. There is limited capacity so please RSVP via link ticket event link to register your attendance.

The independent artist's music produced by platinum-award winning producer Garrett Kato has accumulated over 3 million streams across Spotify and Apple Music with the support of airplay on Triple J Radio, editorial playlist placements, supporting acts on national tours and quickly gaining a grassroots following through busking along Australia's eastern coastline.

2024 will see Rod Coote playing his first headline Australian tour both the east and west coast before heading overseas to play a run of shows and festivals in Europe promoting his new single ‘Blue Lake’, a sincere song about the realities of adulthood and maturing through lived experiences. This is the first single featured on an EP produced by Garrett Kato in Byron Bay studio, releasing later on this year.
