2020 Role of the Return to Work Coordinator- Melbourne

This course, developed and endorsed by WorkSafe Victoria, will provide participants with the practical tools and knowledge to facilitate the successful return to work of an injured worker in accordance with the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation Compensation Act, 2013. The course will cover:

- The responsibilities of the RTW Coordinator;

- The legal obligations of both employers and workers in the RTW process;

- Identifying suitable employment options and developing effective RTW plans;

- Monitoring the progress of an injured worker's recovery;

- Communicating effectively with the injured worker, their treating practitioner and other personnel involved in the RTW process;

- Responding to workplace injuries.
