'Play On!' by Rick Abbot

Our plucky community theatre is about to produce a show called Murder Most Foul, a new locally written “murder mystery play”…. with the same title as an Agatha Christie novel…. but with no relation whatsoever we assure you! Our director, Gerry, originally thought producing the play was a fantastic idea since the inexperienced local playwright agreed to let the company perform the show for no fee, however had no idea what disasters awaited - the script is hilariously amateur, the “murder mystery” plot may or may not have a murder, and to top it all off the playwright keeps changing the story and script only days out from the premiere! It doesn’t help that the cast is not getting along, and then to top it all off the playwright accidentally creates a technical disaster the night before the show opens. Everything comes to a hilarious conclusion in Act III when the company ‘performs' the actual show, with hilarious mishaps at every turn. Play On! is a hilarious love letter to community theatre and sure to have you laughing, and groaning in sympathy, out loud!

Refreshments - Kiosk and bar will be open before the show and at intermission (with the bar also open after the show). 

PLEASE NOTE: Only water is permitted in the auditorium. 

Note - Doors open to the public 30 minutes before the advertised start time.

Show Dates -  Oct 24th, 25th, 26th(5pm), 31st and 2 performances Nov 1st (2pm and 7.30pm). Shows start 7.30pm unless otherwise stated.
